Gatuura high school is located in Thigio/Limuru. Thigio is a region in the greater Ndeiya, a region that has been neglected by most leadership since Independence. The high school share land with Gatuura pry school and it is among the most new schools in Thigio location. Following elevation of the local schools to district level schools, Thigio residents were left with no high school hence there was a need to address the situation for the sake of those pupils who don't make it to National, Provincial and district high schools. Gatuura high school tho new and still undergoing registration with the Ministry/Government seek to offer the best in empowering the young with the tool they need in a competitive world. In achieving this there is a lot of sacrifices involved and hopefully the outcomes will be something that the community will get to hold and enjoy for generations.
Gatuura high school and Thigio residents invites all residents, friends and well wishers to a fundraising ceremony. The ceremony will be held at the school ground on 12 May 2012 at 12pm.
